The listing has been live since October 8, 2026. The game is delivered through Steam; there is no separate installer, no publisher account and no browser client to “unlock”.

Warning signs of a fake download

How players reach the attic:

1. In the main hub, go to the fireplace with the nightstands around it.
2. Jump from a nightstand onto the fireplace.
3. Face a corner shelf, jump onto it, then onto the wall trim.
4. Follow the trim to the tilted painting; a normal jump works better than a sprint-jump.
5. Climb from the painting to the wider trim and into the attic.
6. Search the attic for the writing desk and the safe.

The clue chain reported by players:

• a note about children dying on the 13th;
• a book titled “Class of '87: A New Beginning”;
• the Russian localization reportedly naming September.

That produces 09 / 13 / 87 — 091387. The reading is neat enough to be intentional, but treat the code as version-sensitive. It was reported on launch day; a patch can move or change it.

What is inside the attic safe?

Players report a corridor key that opens the route across from the shop, leading toward Henry's bedroom. The bedroom itself is a separate lock: the key to Henry's room is reported to spawn dynamically on nearby furniture, not in a fixed drawer.

Are other safes the same code?

No. The launch build's room safes and keypad popups are not one universal number. The code is tied to clues in the current room cluster or seed.

Use this inspection order when a keypad appears:

1. Sweep the room you are in. Open journals, read chalkboards, check plaques and notes on desks.
2. Check the walls with a flashlight. Some symbols and digits are only visible at an angle or under a UV-style light.
3. Count the props. If the popup has symbol slots but no written number, count matching objects — candles, clock numerals, marked portraits.
4. Post a lookout. Typing a code occupies your view. In co-op, one player should watch the corridor while another enters digits.

If the room gives you nothing, leave and check the adjacent hallway. The clue is usually in the same room cluster, not on the other side of the manor.

Locked doors, closets and the board room

The board-room door rule is the one that ruins runs. If someone rolls while teammates are still outside, the door can lock and split the squad at the exact moment the board resolves. The table anchor's job is to count heads before the roll, not after.
