Invokyr platforms: PS5, Xbox, Switch and Steam Deck

PC via Steam is the only confirmed platform. Everything else is unannounced — here is what each storefront and Valve actually say.

The short answer

PC via Steam is the only confirmed platform. Invokyr entered Early Access on October 8, 2026 for Windows. There is no PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch or Switch 2 version, and Ludogram has not announced a console release date. The game is not on Game Pass.

That is not a temporary storefront glitch. The Steam listing's platform flags are explicit: Windows true, macOS false, Linux false. No console storefront lists the game.

What “not announced” means here

It does not mean “never”. It means there is no date, no store page, no publisher statement and no pre-order. Any article that gives a PS5 or Xbox release window is extrapolating.

PC and Steam: the confirmed build

The Steam version is the reference build. It supports single-player and online co-op for up to six players, and it is the only place where saves, invites and the current price live.

  • Store: Steam, app 3883570
  • OS: Windows
  • Release: Early Access, October 8, 2026
  • Players: 1–6, online co-op
  • Price: $12.99 list, $9.74 during the 25% launch promotion
  • Reviews: Very Positive, 94% of 927 reviews on October 20, 2026

Early Access matters for platform questions because console certification rewards finished builds. A game that patches weekly on Steam can sit in Microsoft or Sony submission for days per update. That is a scheduling reason to launch on PC first, not a promise that a port is coming.

PS5 status

Not announced. There is no PlayStation Store page, no trailer end-card for PlayStation and no dated statement from Ludogram or Shochiku. Searches that promise an “Invokyr PS5 release date” are currently predicting, not reporting.

What would change this answer? A store wishlist page, a platform-specific trailer, an age rating, or a publisher press release. None exist as of October 20, 2026.

If a port does happen, the control scheme is the easy part: the Steam listing advertises “Playable without Timed Input” and the game uses menu, trigger and movement interactions rather than mouse-heavy inventory work. The hard part is certification cadence and six-player networking.

Xbox status

Not announced, and not on Game Pass. There is no Xbox Store listing and no Game Pass entry. The same evidence standard applies: a social post or a “coming soon” aggregator is not an announcement.

Because the game is published in part by Shochiku, some coverage assumes a broad multi-platform rollout. That is a reasonable guess about publisher incentives, not a confirmed plan. Treat it as speculation.

Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 status

Not announced. No eShop page exists. A Switch version would face the same certification work as PS5 and Xbox plus a stricter performance target; there is no evidence Ludogram has started that work.

Steam Deck status

Valve has not rated Invokyr. The compatibility report returns category 0, which means no Verified or Playable badge has been assigned. Owners may still try it through Proton, but “it launches” is not the same as “it is supported”.

If you want to test it yourself, the safe sequence is:

  1. Install the Windows build through Steam on the Deck.
  2. Force Proton in the game's Properties → Compatibility tab.
  3. Cap the frame rate at 40 or 45 FPS and lower volumetric fog first; that setting is usually the heaviest on handheld hardware.
  4. Keep the internal resolution at 1280×800 so dice numbers and board text stay readable.

Do not expect cloud-save or performance guarantees until Valve assigns a rating or Ludogram publishes Deck settings.

Crossplay and cross-progression

There is no crossplay to configure, because there is only one platform. Steam Deck and desktop PCs share the same Steam lobby pool. If console ports ever ship, crossplay would be a separate engineering decision, not an automatic feature.

Cross-progression is also absent at launch. Saves stay with the Steam account.

What we are watching next

The signals that would justify updating this page, in order of strength:

  • a PlayStation, Xbox or Nintendo store page for Invokyr;
  • an official console trailer or publisher press release with a date;
  • a Steam Deck compatibility rating from Valve;
  • a Ludogram roadmap post naming platforms or a 1.0 window.

Until then, the honest status is one platform, one storefront and no console date.

Platform questions

Is Invokyr on PS5?

No. There is no PS5 version and no announced release date as of October 20, 2026.

Is Invokyr on Xbox or Game Pass?

No. There is no Xbox Store listing and no Game Pass entry.

Is Invokyr on Nintendo Switch?

No. No Switch or Switch 2 version has been announced.

Does Invokyr run on Steam Deck?

Valve has not rated it. Compatibility is listed as unknown; Proton may work, but it is not officially supported or verified.

Is Invokyr crossplay?

There is no crossplay because the game is Steam-only. Steam Deck and desktop players share the same Steam lobbies.

Will Invokyr come to consoles after Early Access?

That is plausible but unconfirmed. Neither Ludogram nor Shochiku has announced a console port, a 1.0 date or a platform roadmap.
