The four launch boards

Early Access launched with four board themes, and Ludogram has said the themes can be combined, so the collection is a board-building problem rather than four fixed levels.

BoardWhat it changesSignature monster
Haunted ManorAntique timber corridors and flickering lamps; the default manor geometry, with narrow halls and blind cornersNo single signature monster named; the general manor roster applies
JungleOvergrown rooms, dense cover and low visibilityReported by players as an Alligator board
Icy MountainSnow, reflective ice and reduced grip, so braking takes longerYeti — Ludogram's demo update introduced this board with a frozen environment and the Yeti as its hunter
DesertDry sandstone halls and wide-open roomsReported by players as a Sandworm board

Two open questions worth knowing before you compare wiki pages:

  • The toy chest. The Steam store description lists the house biomes as “jungle, ice mountain, oversized toy chest”, while the launch announcement names Desert instead. Community tables sometimes count the toy chest as a fifth board. Treat “four themes at launch, toy chest biome inside the manor” as the safe reading.
  • Which monster owns which board. Only the Yeti pairing is official. The rest is player observation, and the roadmap adds boards that no guide has played yet.

What every board shares

  1. Roll the movement die in the game room. The token advances toward the centre; rooms rearrange; a new threat can enter permanently.
  2. Resolve the tile. Fetch idols, survive an event, clear a minigame.
  3. Pay the idols. The board asks for a total value, not a specific idol.
  4. Repeat until the token reaches the centre, then all players are pulled deeper into the manor for the final trial.

Special dice are single-use, spawns are permanent, and the board only ever asks for more — there is no run where the manor gets easier.

House rules

House rules are official: Ludogram describes the launch build as having “House Rules that twist the usual rules of the game and make subsequent challenges increasingly unpredictable”. The details are not published anywhere authoritative, and the wiki index does not pretend otherwise.

What is documented is how you get hold of them:

  • Custom Mode (patch V0.44.12) unlocks after you beat the Master Board. Pull the lever in the collection room, then build a board from the boards, house rules and monster figurines you have unlocked.
  • Custom Mode has no death penalty and no reward: win or lose, the squad returns to its last round.

The shop

The shop opens after each board clear, restocks with a new inventory, and every item has a chance of a 30% discount. Prices below are normal, with the discounted price in brackets — all player-tested, so treat them as version-specific.

The roadmap

Ludogram's September 28 roadmap lists what Early Access is still meant to add:

PlannedDetail
New boards3 more themes, including Abyss and Space; the third is unrevealed
New monsters10+ more hunters
New dangersMore idols, more dice effects, more events
ShopMajor improvements, new gadgets and furniture
RulesNew chaotically twisting house rules
LoreMore history for Invokyr, the house and the Game Master

None of it has a release date, and the price may rise as the collection grows — the current $9.74 is the early-adopter price.

Board questions

How many boards does Invokyr have?

Four at Early Access launch: Haunted Manor, Jungle, Icy Mountain and Desert. Three more — including Abyss and Space — are planned.

Do boards change the monsters?

Partly. Each board is built around a signature monster (the Icy Mountain board is officially the Yeti board), and themes can be combined, so the same rooms can be paired with different hunters.

Is the shop pay-to-win?

No. It takes score earned inside runs, sells no premium currency, and holds no loot boxes. The Steam listing has no microtransactions.

Can you build your own board?

Yes, in Custom Mode: beat the Master Board, pull the lever in the collection room, and combine any unlocked board, house rule and monster figurine you own.
