The current Steam listing
Invokyr is sold on Steam as a Windows Early Access game, app 3883570. The US listing on October 20, 2026 shows:
| Field | Value |
|---|---|
| Base price | $12.99 |
| Current price | $9.74 |
| Discount | 25% off launch promotion |
| Release | Early Access, October 8, 2026 |
| Platform | Windows (Steam) |
| Players | 1–6, online co-op |
| Reviews | Very Positive — 874 of 927 positive (94%) |
| Storage | 5 GB |
| Developer / publisher | Ludogram / Ludogram, Shochiku |
Prices are regional. Steam's matrix sets the local currency amount, so the euro, pound and Brazilian real figures will not be a straight conversion of $12.99. The store page is the only reliable place to check the price in your account region.
The 25% promotion is a launch-window discount, not a permanent price. If the page shows $12.99, the promotion has ended. We do not publish a countdown because Valve and Ludogram control it.
What the $12.99 buys
There is one edition. No deluxe upgrade, no season pass, no pre-order bonus. The launch build already offers a complete multiplayer loop for 1–6 players: four board themes (Haunted Manor, Jungle, Icy Mountain, Desert), 15+ monsters, 20+ events and more than a dozen dice. Ludogram expects Early Access to last approximately one year and has said the price may rise toward 1.0, so the current price is the early-adopter price.
The in-game shop is not a real-money store. It is the board-game shop where you spend score earned during runs on dice dispensers, gadgets, furniture and cosmetics. There are no loot boxes or premium currency in the listing.
There are also official bundles, including a co-op horror bundle with Devour, Species: Unknown and Dark Hours. A bundle is a discount on separate games, not a different edition of Invokyr.
Is Early Access a risk?
Yes, in the ordinary sense: mechanics, monster behaviour and balance can change between patches. The launch build already has a complete run structure — board, idols, events, final objective — but you are buying a game that is still being tuned. If that is unacceptable, wait for 1.0. If you want to play now, the price is low and the core loop is present.
Demo status
A free demo existed before launch. It supported online co-op (community coverage describes four-player demo lobbies), and it was the build most early videos were recorded on.
As of October 20, 2026, the main Steam listing does not show a demo download button. The demo trailer is still on the page, which is why search results and old articles make it look current. Some guides cite a separate demo app ID; that ID did not resolve when checked on October 16.
So the honest answer is:
- There was a demo.
- It is not currently offered as a download on the main store page.
- The paid Early Access build is the way to play today.
If a demo returns, it will appear as a green “Download Demo” button on the right side of the Steam listing, above the purchase box. Do not download a “demo” from a third-party mirror.
Reviews: what 927 ratings say
The review summary is Very Positive, with 94% positive at the time of writing. That is a useful signal for a two-week-old Early Access co-op game, but it is not a description of the game.
What the score does tell you:
- The launch build runs well enough for most reviewers to finish sessions.
- The co-op premise lands; the board-game framing is not a bait-and-switch.
- The sample is still small. A 927-review score can move quickly.
What it does not tell you:
- Whether the late-game difficulty is fair.
- Whether the current patch fixed the bug you personally will hit.
- Whether your group can coordinate six players. That is a social constraint, not a review score.
Read the negative reviews for the failure modes — crashes, matchmaking, host migration, difficulty spikes — rather than the aggregate number.
System requirements
The Steam listing publishes these Windows requirements:
| Minimum | Recommended | |
|---|---|---|
| OS | 64-bit Windows 10 | 64-bit Windows 10 |
| CPU | Intel Core i5-7500 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600 | Intel Core i5-11500 or AMD Ryzen 5 5600X |
| RAM | 16 GB | 16 GB |
| GPU | NVIDIA GTX 1650 or AMD RX 580 | NVIDIA RTX 3060 or AMD RX 6600 XT |
| DirectX | 11 | 11 |
| Network | Broadband | Broadband |
| Storage | 5 GB | 5 GB |
The 16 GB RAM floor is the item to check first. The GPU floor is modest; the CPU floor is not. Six-player sessions are network-bound as much as GPU-bound, so “recommended” is the safer target if you plan to host.
How to buy without getting burned
- Open the official listing: Steam — Invokyr, app 3883570.
- Check that the developer is Ludogram and the app ID is 3883570.
- Buy through Steam itself, not a “key marketplace” that asks for account credentials.
- Keep the purchase in your own Steam account so refunds and Family Sharing work.
- If the price looks impossible — under $5 at launch — you are probably looking at a different product or a scam listing.
Steam's refund policy applies: generally within 14 days and under two hours of play, subject to Valve's terms. That is a better safety net than any third-party “trial”.
Steam questions
How much does Invokyr cost?
$12.99 in the US, currently $9.74 with a 25% launch discount. Regional pricing varies; check the Steam page for your currency.
Is there an Invokyr demo?
A free demo ran before launch, but the main Steam page currently shows no demo download button. The paid Early Access build is the available version. Ludogram's launch post says the demo and playtests shaped the build; it does not promise the demo will return.
Is Invokyr worth it?
At under $10 during the promotion, the value case is the co-op board-game loop, not production scale. Check recent negative reviews for the current patch's crash and matchmaking reports before buying.
Does Invokyr have microtransactions?
The in-game shop uses score earned in runs. The Steam listing does not sell premium currency or loot boxes.
Is Invokyr on Game Pass?
No. It is a Steam-only release and is not included with PC Game Pass.
